Apostle Fannie Annette Hickson Henderson: A Journey of Faith and Leadership

Fannie Annette Hickson Henderson was born on November 24, 1966, in Dallas, Texas. She was the only child of the late Curley Willis and Lorene Hickson (Bonus Dad) Charles Griffin. Her educational journey led her to Dallas ISD, where she graduated from Pinkston High School in the West Dallas area.

At the tender age of 12, Fannie felt a deep connection to God and a burning desire to seek Him wholeheartedly. After years of dedicated service and a willingness to be a vessel for God’s work, she accepted her call into ministry. Her passion for reaching God’s people led her to embrace the role of an evangelist, tirelessly spreading the message of faith and hope.

In a significant milestone, on September 11, 2021, Pastor Fannie was ordained and established as the Pastor and founder of Temple of Faith Ministries in Carrollton, Texas. Her ministry’s commitment to building the Kingdom led her to join forces with the Congregation of Eagles Global Network (COEGN), under the guidance of Apostle Dedron K. Jordan, Chief Presiding Prelate and Bishop. Within COEGN, Apostle  Fannie currently serves as the II Presiding Prelate to Apostle Dedron,  Auxiliary Bishop of Events and Planning and, current Campus Pastor for the Congregation of Eagles West Dallas True Apostolic Faith—the first COEGN church in Texas.

Beyond her Pastoral  duties, Apostle Fannie wears other important hats. She is the devoted wife of Bro. Benny Henderson and the proud mother of two children: Sis. Crystal Alexander and Bro. Patrick Turner. Additionally, she cherishes her role as a grandmother to Sis. Alana Ogunleye.

Apostle Fannie draws inspiration from Ecclesiastes 9:10: “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.” Her leadership philosophy centers on being a servant—one who understands that effective leadership begins with a willingness to follow.

May Apostle Fannie’s unwavering faith and dedication continue to inspire those around her.
