The Bishop or Overseer of Intercessory Prayer is appointed and or dismissed by the Chief Presiding Prelate and ratified by The Bishop & Overseer Council.. 

The Bishop or Overseer of Intercessory Prayer is responsible for the following: 

1. Development of the Intercessory Prayer board an ensuring that the responsibilities of the board are conducted as he or she outlines 

1. note that the board is working to develop a relationship with the regional Bishops to ensure that the Intercessory Prayer program is understood and beginning to work in the said states, countries and or provinces 

1. device a prayer agenda for the Fellowship as delegated by the Chief Presiding Prelate 

1. work with the Bishop or Overseer of Christian education to develop a manual of prayer structure and necessity for individuals on all spiritual levels 

1. initiate and delegate information concerning special times of prayer for seasonal conferences, meetings, gatherings, and personal purposes 

1. followed the themes of the Fellowship and aid in designing times for emphasis in prayer for the things and points of concern 

1. develop a manual for enhanced prayer in the lives of pastors and churches 

1. work with the regional Bishops to ensure that a director of Intercessory Prayer is in each state, country, and or province 

1. assure that regional Bishops are made aware of the prayer agenda and need on an international basis 

1. ensure that the Intercessory Prayer workers are in number, and participation as deemed necessary at all conferences and meetings 

1. make sure that a packet and or publication on Intercessory Prayer be made available to regional Bishops, state Bishops or Overseers and district Bishops or Overseers 

1. establish a Network of prayer throughout the Fellowship that will bring the Fellowship together in prayer for a same cause and event or moment
